The Peninsula Woodturners Guild was formed in 1983 to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas and techniques in relation to woodturning. The Guild started with about 12 individuals meeting in one of the woodturner's homes and now has over 200 men and women members. New members are welcome. These days the PWG meets in its own studio in the grounds of the McClelland Gallery Campus at Langwarrin, on the outskirts of Frankston, Victoria, Australia.
